Jason Bartlein is a Principal and founder of Bolder Capital based in Houston, TX. Bolder Capital is a boutique commercial mortgage banking firm which focuses on procuring debt and equity for a variety of commercial real estate assets including development, value-add and stabilized transactions. Jason has worked with several types of capital providers over the course of 20+ years to finance every major asset class in commercial real estate.
Jason also serves as a Partner and Chief Investment Officer to Titan Vanguard, a property investment company, that focuses on value-add commercial and NNN acquisitions. Being active in the capital markets as both a property owner and broker provides a unique perspective that adds value to clients.
Prior to starting Bolder Capital, Jason was a Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, a national commercial mortgage banking firm with 30 offices and a wholly owned subsidiary of BB&T Bank. Prior to joining Grandbridge, Jason was a Director at Flagship Capital Partners responsible for originating senior and mezzanine bridge loans in Texas. Prior to joining Flagship Capital Partners, he served as a Commercial Loan Officer at BMC Capital, a national commercial mortgage banking firm, for 6 years. Before joining BMC, Jason managed the office of a Houston-based real estate consulting firm responsible for underwriting and closing CMBS loans for Wall Street investment banks.
A native Houstonian, he earned his bachelor of business administration degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Jason is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
